The
planning for
Woodbury Scholarship Fund’s 3rd annual “Go
the Distance for Scholars” is already
underway for the fall event. Whether
you’re a serious athlete our just want to
participate to support a seriously great
cause we have a variety of events that can
challenge you. Young or young at
heart, single or a family, a runner,
walker or biker, it’s an event to enjoy
and celebrate.
Last
year, “Go the Distance” netted $32,000
with proceeds fully supporting student
scholarships. Once again there are many
ways to become involved. Please, consider
being a sponsor, a volunteer, or a
contributor to our raffle or auction. But
most of all come to participate and enjoy
the activities (and perhaps be a lucky
raffle or auction winner).
The
Woodbury Scholarship Fund was founded in
1975 to support students pursuing post -
secondary education. It has since
made over 600 scholarship awards to
deserving students. The WSF also
manages endowments and grants for other
community organizations, businesses and
